2023 Elections: Over 500 Support Groups In Ondo State Set To Mobilize, Work For Atiku’s Victory

Ahead of the forthcoming general elections slatted for February, 2023, Ondo state Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization, APCO has registered over 500 Support groups willing and prepared to work for the victory of vice president, Atiku Abubakar

The state coordinator,comrade Oluwasola Ibukun
disclosed this to journalists shortly after the support group colligate management council organized an inaugural and interactive meeting at the PDP state Secretariat, Alagbaka which was well attended by all the group leaders.

 

The coordinator described Atiku as a candidate with the capacity to turn around the fortunes of Nigerians whom he noted were already disenchanted with the poor performance of the Muhammadu Buhari administration in all sectors.

According to comrade Oluwasola Ibukun,Atiku Abubakar “is better placed to fix our economy with the right policies and decisions, this can be gleaned from his performance as VP from 1999 to 2003, a period Nigeria witnessed all the progress we enjoy today, the facts are there to be interrogated”

He expressed commitment and convictions that the Atiku/Okowa joint ticket stems from the fact that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the most prepared to steer the ship of the state come 2023.”

While calling on Nigerians to be vigilant during the next general elections, he disclosed that eligible voters should vote massively for Atiku who has the competence to fix all sectors of the economy.

He also used the occasion to express appreciation to the state party chairman, Fatai Adams, the PDP candidate in the 2020 Governorship election, Eyitayo Jegede, former ondo state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko and several other party chieftains at the state and national level for their support.

Other speakers, the State PDP chairman, Fatai Adams, member ,Atiku Presidential Campaign council, Hon.mrs Esther Ebiwonjumi and the PDP south senatorial candidate, Agboola Ajayi urged the support groups, women ,Youths and all resident of Ondo state to mobilize and come out massively to vote for the PDP flag bearer in the forthcoming presidential election slated for February, 2023.

Other APCO members who were present at the inaugural/interactive meeting include: Director Groups Registration & Verification comrade Titilope Aboluwodi, Director Party Liaison, Hon Mrs Oluwakemi Akinola, the secretary, Olarewaju Elizabeth Abosede, Director for contact and mobilization, Hon. Seriki Oluwasegun Henry,Director of compliance, Hon Afolabi Bakara,
Director of field operation, prince Afolabi Iyantan, Director media, Hon Akinro Charles and director Evaluation, Engr Bayo Adesida
