Ex-Ondo Info Commissioner Ojogo Beats PDP Rep, Akinjo To End 3rd Term Ambition

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that a former Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State, Hon Donald Ojogo of the APC, has won the Ilaje / Ese-Odo Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives.
Ojogo, a Senior Journalist, defeated the incumbent, Hon Kolade Akinjo, who was seeking a third term in the National Assembly,thereby crashing the third ambition of the PDP federal lawmaker.
Ojogo who polled 26,306 votes to defeat Akinjo who had 22,390, had in 2019 lost to Akinjo narrowly.
