Ondo State NDLEA Commander, Evershine Films & Travel CEO, Others Bag Southwest Newspapers Publisher’s Award

The Commander of NDLEA in Ondo State, Mr. Raji Mumini Kayode, CEO Ever-Shine Films and Travels Nigeria Limited, Prince Ijiti Samuel Aanu, Governorship Aspirant, D.r Tunji Rhema Moyero and the General Overseer, Body of Christ Ministries, Prophet Paul Oluyemi among others yesterday received awards of meritorious service in recognition of their various contributions to the development of the society at the Annual Public Lecture and Award ceremony put together by Southwest Newspapers Publishers, Ondo State chapter.

The Ondo State Chairman, Association of Independent Newspapers Publishers of Nigeria ( AINPN), Prince Femi Ojopagogo while speaking at the event chaired by Dr. Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu said the association has been monitoring the activities of the awardees and that the honour being bestowed on them is to serve as an impetus for them to do more.

While also congratulating the awardees, Prince Ojopagogo urged them not to relent in doing good and in giving themselves selflessly to the people.

Responding shortly after receiving the award, the NDLEA Boss expressed delight at the honour just as he restated that it will spur him to do more.

He also assured that his men will double their efforts in ridding the state of drug related crime.

In his own response, the CEO, Ever-Shine Films and Travels, Prince Ijiti appreciated the Association for the gesture just as he dedicated the award to the glory of God.

The event also featured the unveiling of the special edition of the magazine as well as launch of N25 million Digital House for the Association.

Earlier in his lecture, Pastor Ola Olaere while exploring the theme of the lecture: “How far has Government’s Palliative Program Cushioned Harsh Effects of Fuel Subsidy Removal in Nigeria, said government must be deliberate about finding lasting solutions to the nations problem.

He particularly urged President Tinubu to drive policies that will drive economic rebirth stressing that the people awaits a more enduring template not just a face-lift to the serious economic problems facing the nation.
