An experienced and exposure Engineer Adesemoye who is often called Ijaya has made a called to the three years of government in Nigeria for them to provide an enabling environment for the citizens to thrive in all ramifications of the economy sectors in the state. He made this assertion in a Public Lecture delivered today in Akure on the need for the Good Leadership in the Country for the purpose of driving the economy of the country for the betterment of the citizens. Engineer Ijaya said our leaders should lead by example if they want the nation to experienced a fast development. He said corruption has to be dealt with first before the country could moved forward.

Speaking further, Engineer Adesemoye advocated for the stoppage  of importation of the foreign items or goods in the country. He opined that if Nigeria government wants the economy to be stronger they have to put an end to the importation of foreign goods. He said the only way to make Naira strong was for us to increased the patronage of the made in Nigeria goods .

He called on the government to asked the manufacturer of the cars in abroad to come and domicile their business here in Nigeria to be Assembly their cars here if they want Nigerians to be patronising them. He explained that by so doing , Dollar would crashed automatically as Nigerians would only be buying those cars with Naira as against foreign exchange .

Engineer, Ijaya said Nigeria is still going to be great as running away from the Country or “Japa Syndrome” is not the Solution to the problems. He advised the people to be patient and be resilient as the country would be better than this in future. He said Nigerian are one of the most intelligent people on Earth and so , government should ensured that they provide them an enable environment to thrive .

Speaking on the corruption, Engineer Ijaya recommended a stiff penalty to any leader that embezzle the public fund. He said any public officers be it politicians or civil servants that steal public fundsbrunning to twenty or more billions should be jailed for the numbers of the figure of million or billions he or she stolen after they might have collected the money he stoles. He said with this type of recommendations nobody would be embezzled public fund again.

He asked the current leaders in all sectors to laid down good precedent just like our former leaders like Obafemi Awolowo,Alhaji Shehu Shagari, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, Azikiwe ,General Gowon, Anthony Enahoro and host of others for the current and yet unborn generations. He advised them to desist from acquiring materials things but rather focused on the development of the country by providing jobs for youth and better the life of all the citizens.

Other Awardees Response.

Barrister Adu Olumuyiwa, a multiple award winning and a Philanthropists in this generation has said that the award given to him by the TNNTV  Channel would be dedicated to humanity and for the support of the less privilege in the society. He said the award was a challenge to him to do more to what he has been doing before that qualifies him to be honoured by many media and other organisations in the community.
He said our government should be more proactive in time of exploring the natural mineral resources deposited in our country for the development of the country and creation of jobs for our teeming youths. He advised government to always think outside the box in order to create more jobs opportunities for the citizens to explore for their welfare.

In another development, Chief Sunday Owoyemi, the Olu-omo 1 of Akure, ably represented by Adewale Ojo who is a consultant to the Sunbeth Event Centre said the award given to him was a recognition of his services to humanity as he was still looking forward to more of it in the nearest future from many organizations in the society.

He said this award is an instigation for the Olu-Omo 1 of Akure to do more in the service to humanity as he was happy to receive the honour bestowed on him .
