The Chairman of the Ondo State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Comrade Victor Oladele Amoko has expressed sadness on the death of Ondo State Governor Olurotimi Akeredolu (SAN), describing him as an exceptional statesman who made indelible as the Governor of Ondo State.

Governor Akeredolu, aged 67 died early hour of Wednesday morning, December 27th while away in Germany for Medical Vacation.

His words: ” My heartfelt condolences go to the government, people of Ondo State and the immediate family of our Mr Talk and Do Governor, His Excellency Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN , CON. Today is a black Wednesday in the history of our Dear Sunshine State, this is a great loss to us as a Union considering your workers friendly relationship since assumption of office. Arakunrin, Adieu.”

” Comrade Governor, you would be remembered for your courage, patriotism, and immeasurable contributions to the development of Ondo State and workers welfare”.

Amoko added that the legacies and the good work of Akeredolu will definitely stand the test of time and be remembered by unborn generation.
