Ondo 2024: lgbasan Rallies Constituents for Aiyedatiwa, Ahead Ondo APC Guber Primary
*Meets Irele Local Government APC Stakeholders, says Aiyedatiwa Best Bet for Ondo State
As clock ticks towards April 2024 Ondo Guber Primaries, the immediate Past Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget in Ondo State, who doubled as the indisputable leader of APC in Irele Local Government, Pastor Emmanuel lgbasan has rallied supports for the governorship ambition of the executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Honourable Lucky Aiyedatiwa as he hosted lrele local government APC leaders today 27th January, 2024 at his residence in Ode-Irele, area of Irele local government, Ondo State.
In his speech, the Budget Czar solicited supports of lrele local government APC stakeholders for Governor Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming Ondo State APC guber primary saying Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy would transform Ondo State economically.
Admonishing the people, lgbasan called for collaborative efforts among the stakeholders saying unity was what the party needed at the local government which would in turn bring development to the local government as witnessed in others.
Speaking against politics of acrimony and bitterness, lgbasan advised the leaders to shun any act that is inimical to the progress and development of the council saying it was by unity even development could be registered in the local government. He therefore urged them to work harmoniously for a common goal in the forthcoming APC guber primaries saying Aiyedatiwa has good plans for Ondo State and as a result solicited supports for his ambition.
Reacting ,Ondo State APC Woman Leader, Hon(Mrs) Mojisola Lijoka Stella, Irele Local Government APC Party Chairman,Chief Z.A Omoge, Hon. Adebusoye Babarere, former Caretaker Chairman, lrele local government, Hon. Sayo Ogunmade, Chief Olatunji, Chief Hon. Ali Siko and Hon Jide Akinfe, former Caretaker chairmen, Irele local government and lkale East Local Council Development Area respectively, Chief Akinmorin Aknfe and Dr Akinbolade Omosuwa, Irele local government APC Vice-chairman and his Secretary other notable leaders all spoke glowingly of the influence of the former Budget commissioner promising to follow him by supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa governorship ambition saying wherever lgbasan goes they follow.
Finally, lgbasan charged them to be wary of people who were all out to deceive the people on their phantom governorship ambition promising to deliver Irele for Governor Aiyedatiwa, lgbasan urged.
