Administrator Samantha Power Meets with Danish Minister for Development Cooperation Dan Jørgensen

Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with Dan Jørgensen, Danish Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy. Administrator Power and Minister Jørgensen discussed U.S. and Danish efforts to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and Administrator Power thanked Minister Jørgensen for Denmark’s contribution of more than $25 million to the Gaza humanitarian response. Administrator Power and Minister Jørgensen underscored the critical importance of improved humanitarian and commercial access into Gaza. Administrator Power and Minister Jørgensen also discussed international efforts to support Ukraine and Haiti, as well as partnerships to advance democratic openings globally.
