Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with Alexander Berger, CEO of Open Philanthropy. They discussed work to reduce lead poisoning in low- and middle-income countries. Administrator Power noted USAID’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at eliminating lead from consumer goods. Administrator Power and Mr. Berger underscored the importance of mobilizing key stakeholders toward combating lead exposure from critical sources to improve health and child development outcomes.
