Burial: Owo Indigenes And Others pays last respect To Akeredolu.

The indigenes of Ondo State and other friends across Nigeria gathered to honoured former Governor of Ondo Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON. The event took place at the Cathedra Church of st Andrew owo where all top government functionaries and dignitaries paid their last respect to Aketi
who died of Cancer in Germany last year.

The Catholic Bishops who Admonished the people to always do the right thing in life in respective of the position they found themselves.He said this life was so short and that nobody have all the luxury of time to do all what God had destined him to do and so, people should used their position well and do good things in life as well as help humanity.

Similarly, the governor of Ondo State HE Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa acknowledged the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the president and commander of Armed forces of Federal Republic of Nigeria who was ably represented by the VP Alhaji Shettima described late governor as a true fighter who defended his people to the end.

The governor, lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa said, so much things had been said about his late principal since the burial preparation started and that he would not say much words again but to thank people that came to the event.

He thanked the family and members that came on behalf of the Ondo State. He said people are here to paid the last respect to Aketi because of the closeness they had with him

He explained that the church are doing what they are doing because Aketi was one of the Church Chancellor who had contributed a lot to the development of the state. He described him as a fighter, a warrior and a leader who would never been forgotten. He explained that though Aketi was sixty seven years but impacted many lives both in politics and outside the politics even more than those who lived more years in life than him.

He said he could not forget what his principal had done for him as he made him a governor of the state and therefore, there was no way he could forget him in his memory and in his government.
Present at the event are the secretary of the FG Sen.. George Akume , former Governor Mimiko, Delta governor, Bayelsa governor and other dignitaries that present on the event
the security personnel were on ground to protect the people from any external unforseen circumstances.
