*INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY CELEBRATION: ONDO POWA CELEBRATES, EMPOWERS WIVES OF POLICE PERSONNEL*

The Ondo State Police Officers Wives Association led by Mrs Elizabeth Abayomi celebrated the international women’s day with other wives of policemen serving in the state.

The program which was graced by the Commissioner of Police, CP Abayomi Oladipo and other members of the management team was full of activities that inspired inclusion.

Present at the programme is the chairperson of FIDA, Mrs Catherine Ogunjebi who is also the Chairperson of the day; she spoke extensively on the need for women to inspire inclusion, NAWOJ chairperson Mrs Tola Gbadamosi while the Bank Manager of Access Bank, Mrs Morayo Abiodun Ogunloye also talked about how to inspire inclusion, economically, Mrs JJ Joel, a Principal spoke extensively on education while the DPO of Fanibi Division spoke on Security matters.

The CP in his remarks said women are to be celebrated everyday considering their daily contribution to humanity and urged those present to aspire to be inspiration to others.

Part of the laudable activity is the empowerment for Police wives by the Chairperson of POWA, Mrs Elizabeth Abayomi.
