Ondo 2024: Don’t Make APC To Slip Into The Hands Of Opposition Party-Odimayo

One of the leading aspirants of the All Progressives Congress -APC, Hon. Olujimi Odimayo, a Federal Lawmaker representing Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency held a press conference with crops of Journalists in Akure, Ondo State, .
He said he was there to inform the people of the Ondo State his decision to contest for the forth coming Governorship election in November 2024.. Odimayo who is the chairman committee on population in the Federal House of Representative, Abuja said that this was not the first time of contesting in the state . Odimayo who was a graduate of Accounting in Yaba Polytechnic , Lagos State and a chatered Accountant said that he had been exposed to various political activities in the state and beyond . He said he has interest in the Governorship position in order to made changes in all levels of the governance.
Similarly, he said the former Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON, (Of Blessed Memory) had provided a good ground for him to start with if he eventually win the election as he would not going to started a fresh. He said that he would ensure that 80% of Agriculture in the state would be mechanized in all the eighteen local government. He said he would ensure that we have health subsidy to address the health challenge of Hypertension and excess of sugar which causing diabetics among the people which inturn killing them .
In another dimension, he said he would developed the infrastructural facilities of the state and that the people of the state would typed in into the blue economy of the Federal government for their own advantages. He promised to create an entrepreneur business for the youth. He said he would provide energy for the people in the state particularly the Southerner who have been in darkness for years. He said that he would addressed the challenges that is facing us in the state. He explained that the people of the south couldn’t afford to negotiate the eight years and he appealed to the leadership of the APC to do the needful and he said the aspirants in the party can win the election in the state and therefore appealed to the party not to made any mistake that would wake up the opposition party in the state.
Responding to the questions . Odimayo said he paid for his membership aspirant and that he had the right to paid for some members who did not have the financial capacity to paid for themselves .He said that as of today, that there is no preferred Aspirants in the party as he was sure that the president did not play politics with that at all. He said he would only support himself as he believed that he is the only aspirants that have the interest of the indigents in his heart. He disclosed that the only person that is bankrolling him is God together with those people that are following him.
