Guber Primary: Aiyedatiwa Picks APC Governorship Ticket In Ondo

Governor Aiyedatiwa has been declared winner in the just concluded All Progressives Congress -APC Gubernatorial primary by the Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ahmed Ododo, who was the chairman of the election committee that conducted the primary in the state. By this announcement, Aiyedatiwa would be the flag bearer of the party in the coming Governorship election slated for 16th November, 2024. The event which took place at the collation centre- The Dome in Akure today have the following results as follows

After counting, it was observed that Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa won 16 local government with total scores 48569 . While Barrister Olusola Oke won one LG out of eighteen with 14915 votes. Ifedore Local government votes was cancelled due to violence as reported by the returning officer for that local government..
At the end of the process, Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa was declared winner by the Chairman of the election committee His Excellency Governor Usman Ododo of KoGI State.
