Ondo NOA calls for Active Participation in the June Edition of monthly Environmental Sanitation Exercise

The Ondo State Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA) Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has called on the Residents of the State to actively participate in this month Environmental Sanitation Exercise slated for Saturday 29th June 2024, between 7AM and 10AM. The exercise is to be carried out without Restrictions of human and vehicular movement, due to ongoing NECO Exams and the Common Entrance Examinations into the government secondary schools that has been scheduled to hold on that day across the state.

The State Director of Ondo NOA made the call on Friday through a Press Release issued by the Agency PRO, Mr Ralph Oguntibeju urging all residents of the State to ensure their surroundings and environment are well clean ,clear and tidy up in order to keep the State clean and free from all forms of unhygienic condition.

Mrs Adefolalu expressed gratitude to the Ondo State govt in it’s efforts to keep the State safe from outbreak of cholera that has affected some parts of the country and assured everyone access to clean water and stays healthy.

She admonished residents to come out en-masse to clean all nooks and crannies of the State while highlighting the possibility of having continuous rainfall and cautioned against any practice that can lead to flooding. She therefore warned those in habit of violating the extant rules to desist as anybody caught during the exercise will face wrath of the law.

The NOA boss also called on all relevant stakeholders and local government officials of the Agency to closely monitor the exercise in their various local government areas and give the report to appropriate authority.
