GOV AIYEDATIWA HAILS TVC OVER FAIR, BALANCED REPORTAGE

– Says administration will continue to provide conducive environment for professionals

Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, says his administration will continue to provide conducive environment for professionals to perform their duties without hindrance.

The Governor stated this while playing host to the management team of the Television Continental Communications Ltd (TVC), led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Victoria Ajayi, at the Government House in Akure on Monday.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, who commended the TVC and its stations for their ethical engagements in media reporting, described its news and reports as balanced and trustworthy.

Thanking the management team for the visit and support, the Governor said his administration has enjoyed good coverage of its activities from TVC and its stations.

Speaking earlier, the TVC CEO, Mrs. Ajayi, said the visit to the State was to enhance the productive partnership between the station and the state government.

She said TVC prides itself as a media organisation that promotes the ethics of the journalism profession and cherishes mutually beneficial partnerships.

Also speaking, the Director of Programmes of TVC, Mr. Babajide Kolade-Otitoju, said TVC will continue to be on the side of the truth just like it did during the recent challenging times in Ondo State.

Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan,
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State.
