*PRESS RELEASE*

OJAJA PARK COMMISSIONING : ALAGBAKA/OYEMEKUN ROAD DIVERSION NOTICE.

In preparation for the official commissioning of OJAJA Park in Alagbaka, Akure, on the 10th and 11th of November 2024, the Command wishes to inform residents, particularly those in Alagbaka, about a planned traffic diversion along the Alagbaka/Oyemekun route.

This diversion is necessary to ensure tight security and to manage the anticipated traffic congestion due to the large number of VIPs attending the event.

Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes during this period. Commuters traveling from Oba Ile and Ijapo areas towards Fiwasaye Roundabout are particularly urged to take the First Bank Roundabout, as both the first and second turnings will be temporarily closed.

To minimize any inconvenience, the Police Command, along with other security and traffic control agencies, has made extensive arrangements to manage the situation and guide the public.

We kindly request the cooperation of the public during this period and encourage all residents to report any suspicious activities to the Police. For immediate assistance, kindly contact the Police through the command control number :07034313903 or on our social media handles:
X – @OndoPoliceNg
