Ondo Attorney-General, Ajulo hosts NUJ Press Week ‘Asun/Illegal Night’ Today

The Ondo State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, OON, will on Thursday (today) host Journalists in the state during the ASUN NIGHT, as part of the weeklong programme outlined to mark the 2024 Press Week of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council.

The programme, scheduled to hold at the NUJ Press Centre, Alagbaka Akure by 7pm is tagged “Illegal Night”.

According to a Statement by the Press Week Organizing Committee, the Asun night will be sponsored by the Attorney General as a friend of journalists.

Some key personalities are expected to accompany Dr Ajulo to the programme that will be full of entertainment.

Meanwhile, the State Chairman of the Council, Prince Leke Adegbite, commended his members for their unwavering support since the commencement of the weeklong program which begun Sunday, 8th December, 2024.

“I appreciate your inimitable efforts since we started the programme.”

Yesterday, Wednesday, two major events namely Health Walk through major areas in Akure and the Press Week Children’s party sponsored by the Regent of Ayede Ogbese, Princess Olufunto Campbell-Oluyede, were held successfully.

There will also be  a novelty football match today against NBA members in Akure.
