It was smile all the way on Saturday 21st December,2024 at NUJ Centre,behind Adegbemile Cultural Centre where another members of the Pen on Paper elected their State Officers for another term.

The Officers were to pilot the affairs of Association of Nigeria AUTHORS (ANA) for another term according to it’s National Constitution.

Everything is by law and Writers must not be found wanting in that regards literarily.

Kudos are to be given to the trios of “another three wise woman and men in persons of

1.Mrs.Aanuoluwa John-Oluyemi-Chairperson.
2.Comrade Olusola Aworuwa Secretary.
3.Mr.Komolafe Samuel-Member.

who thoroughly did a wonderful and memorable electoral job of which we are praying day and night for to reflect in the affairs and election of Nigeria.

Doggedly and with the fear of God and without rancour and doubt of distrust,the following members were elected,some to serve their first term and another their second term.They are :
a.Chairman-Mr.Sunday Afolayan
b.Vice-Chairman-Mr.Bisi Ajiboye c.Secretary-Pastor Dele Afariogun.
d.Asst.Secretary- David Olatubosun.
e.Treasurer-Amb.Stephen Ajimisan.
f.Fin.Secretary-Comrade Feso Oladipupo.
g.PRO 1-Mr.Goke Williams.
h.PRO 2-Mr.Boluwatife Aanuoluwa.

The Chairperson,Mrs. Aanuoluwa John-Oluyemi,on behalf of the Electoral Officers thanked the National,some Elders and members for the trust they had in them.He appealed to members to support the new EXCO and show much interest in the affairs of ANA.
Collaborating this, Ven.Amb. Nelson Fadoju said that,ANA’s role in the public cannot be pushed aside.He enjoined the EXCO to team up and think of “united we stand,divided,we fall in taking decision at meetings.He promised to discuss with the national to enlarge the coast of ANA to include other writers from other subject areas into the Association as Authors.

The swearing-in was conducted by Ven.Amb.Nelson Fadoju after which the Chairman Mr.Sunday Afolayan gave his acceptance speech whereby he thanked God,electoral Officers and members for electing him back.He enumerated some of his cabinet’s previous achievements and introduced new ones.He solicited for the cooperation of members much more than before to enable and his EXCO do more.

The new EXCO and members were prayed for and group photographs taken before entertainment at the NUJ Centre.
