The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ondo State Council has expressed delight with decision of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on the reappointment of Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

Adeniyan is a former Ondo State Secretary and former National Officer of the union as well as the Publisher, Trace News Magazine.

In a Press Statement signed by the Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite and the State Secretary, Com. Olaoluwa Meshack, Ondo NUJ says Prince Adeniyan had passed necessary test and overcome challenges posed by the sensitive assignment, hence the need to commend the reappointment.

“Our Union receives the news with satisfaction considering incredible performance of Prince Adeniyan since he was appointed the Governor’s CPS over a year ago.

“The reappointment of Prince Adeniyan, has justified our belief that he is one of the best to have served in that capacity. His public relations for his principal is second to know and exceptional.

“We have no doubt that Prince Adeniyan will continue to coordinate and drive the information machinery of Mr Governor in the right directions.

“It’s on record that the CPS has used his office to assist our Union, our members and the generality of the Ondo state people.”

Ondo NUJ appreciates Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the confidence reposed in Prince Adeniyan, noting that the decision to retain him in the position will consolidate virile relationship between the present administration and the media industry in the state.

While congratulating the CPS for not disappointing the media stakeholders and his Principal, Ondo NUJ prays Almighty God to continue to guide and guard in the state assignment.
