In a heartwarming display of recognition and honor, Hon. Aderemi Oyewole, widely known as “Gulder,” has been awarded the African Giant Award for the year 2025, presented by The Face of African TV. The prestigious ceremony, which took place at Sunbeth Hotel in Akure, Ondo State, was themed “Economic Hardship in Nigeria: The Way Forward.”

As the Senior Special Adviser on Inter Party Affairs to the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Aderemi, who holds the title “Akeweje” of Idanre Kingdom, expressed immense gratitude to the organizers for bestowing upon him such an honor. During his speech, he emphasized his commitment to serving humanity even more fervently, promising not to disappoint those who believed in him and played a part in his journey to success. He acknowledged the tremendous support he has received from his well-wishers, especially Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, affectionately known as “Small Alhaji,” who played a pivotal role in introducing him to the APC.

The event saw an outpouring of support from numerous political figures and friends, all gathered to celebrate the achievements of the fifteen awardees. Hon. Aderemi took the opportunity to assure the people of Ondo State that they would soon witness the positive impacts of the hard work and dedication of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa.

Prominent members of the community were present to witness the special occasion, including Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu, Rt. Hon. Osedele Folarin (House Leader, Idanre Local Government Area), Hon. Akinde Bimbo Salas (S.A.), Hon. Olanegan Dimeji (S.A.), Hon. Akinro Vincent, Hon. Adegboyeku Babatunde “Tunis,” and several others, who all came to show their support for Hon. Aderemi.

The African Giant Award event was a testament to Hon. Aderemi’s tireless work in public service and his unyielding determination to improve the lives of the people he serves. As he continues to climb the ladder of success, he remains deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to his achievements.
