The Executive Chairman of Ilaje Local Government Igbokoda, Ondo State , in a series of impactful engagements from March 30th to April 5th, 2025, demonstrated his unwavering commitment to both community development and unity within the local government area.

On April 1, 2025, the Chairman, accompanied by his wife and key political leaders, visited Mrs. Jeje Iyanu at Aribo Hospital in Igbokoda to celebrate the birth of triplets. The Chairman blessed the newborn boys with cash gifts and various baby products. The same day, he oversaw an environmental exercise carried out by the Ilaje LG Corpers, led by outgoing CLO Corper Abalaka Josaiah, along Secretariat Road in Igbokoda. The event was supported by Hon. Benson Oyenyen and Councillor Hon. Korolo Fayowole Minu.

The following day, April 2nd, 2025, saw the Chairman receiving two Ilaje daughters who graduated with First Class Honours from Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa. The graduates were presented to the Chairman by the President of the National Union of Ilaje Youths, Prince Ogunyemi Taiwo, and other members. Later, the Chairman participated in the monthly staff prayer meeting, urging workers to renew their commitment to their duties.

On April 3rd, the Chairman conducted an inspection tour across the local government to assess ongoing works, including areas cleared by the Corps Members. Then, on April 4th, he welcomed delegations from the Ilaje Youth Progressive Intellectuals and the Akure-based Ilaje Youth Group. Both groups, led by Comrade Adebayo Ogoh and Comrade Blessing Oripenayo respectively, pledged to collaborate with the LG to foster unity and contribute to the development of Omuro land.

The week culminated in a well-organized send-off party for the outgoing Ilaje LG Corps Members, held on April 5th at the LG Secretariat. Hon. Sadare Taiwo, the Chairman’s media aide, extended gratitude to the personalities and aides who contributed to the success of the week’s events.

Through these initiatives, the Chairman continues to strengthen the social fabric of Ilaje, promoting unity, development, and a shared sense of responsibility among residents.
