
Ondo Speaker Hails Re-election of NUJ Chairman, Calls Him ‘A Special Breed’

The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Olamide Oladiji, has extended warm congratulations to Prince Leke Adegbite on his re-election as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, describing him as “a special breed” with an unwavering commitment to journalism.
In a personally signed statement made available to reporters in Akure on Thursday, Oladiji said Adegbite’s re-election is a well-deserved victory and a reflection of his integrity, dedication, and proven leadership in the media industry.
“I wish to specially congratulate you on your well-deserved re-election as Chairman of NUJ in Ondo State. I am confident that your skills and experience will no doubt greatly benefit the Union,” the Speaker stated.
He further emphasized that Adegbite’s electoral success speaks volumes of his selfless service and tireless pursuit of excellence in his profession. According to Oladiji, such traits not only inspire his colleagues but also contribute meaningfully to the strengthening of the press as a cornerstone of democracy.
The Speaker concluded his message by wishing the re-elected NUJ Chairman continued success and fulfillment in his tenure, as he carries forward the mandate of upholding the ethics and values of journalism in the state.
