The Vice-Chancellor of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa, Professor Temi Ologunorisa, alongside the university community, has congratulated Prince Bankole Adeyefa on his emergence as the Elemure-elect of Emure-Ile Kingdom in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Until his selection, Prince Adeyefa served at OAUSTECH as Chief Procurement Officer and Acting Head of the Procurement Unit. His elevation to the royal stool, according to Professor Ologunorisa, is a testimony to his leadership qualities, wisdom, and dedication to service.
The professor of Climate Science described Adeyefa’s emergence as a “significant attainment” and expressed confidence that his reign would usher in prosperity, peace, and progress for the Emure-Ile Kingdom. In a congratulatory letter, the Vice-Chancellor prayed for a successful coronation and wished the monarch-elect divine wisdom and guidance.
The development has been widely celebrated both in the Emure-Ile community and across OAUSTECH, where Prince Adeyefa is held in high esteem for his administrative competence and commitment. Many see his new role as a recognition of his capacity for leadership and vision.
Prince Bankole Adesayo, a close associate of the monarch-elect, said the outcome of the kingmakers’ selection was not surprising, describing Adeyefa as a leader with the charisma and determination to drive rapid development in the kingdom.
Other members of the OAUSTECH community also lauded his selection. Mr. Paul Adeagbo, Deputy Director of Information, Protocol and Public Relations, said Adeyefa’s tenacity and focus will enable him to transform his community. Similarly, Mr. Fredrick Fasonranti, Chief Internal Auditor, praised him as an educated and well-connected leader who would foster unity and progress in his domain.
In the same vein, the Chairman of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities and Allied Institutions (NASU) at OAUSTECH, Mr. Kunle Akinwonmi, described Adeyefa’s ascension as a remarkable feat, not only for the university but also for the union, noting that it represents a historic achievement during his tenure.
The coronation of Prince Adeyefa as Elemure of Emure-Ile is eagerly anticipated, with expectations that his reign will herald a new era of growth and development for the kingdom.
