Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has returned to Akure to a hero’s welcome after the Supreme Court upheld his victory. Thousands of supporters gathered at the Democracy Park in Akure to celebrate the Governor’s triumph.

Governor’s Remarks
– *Appreciation*: Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to God, the people of Ondo State, and his legal team for their support throughout the legal process.
– *Judiciary*: He commended the judiciary for delivering justice without fear or favour, describing it as the bedrock of society.
– *Leadership*: He appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership, noting that fairness and equity prevail when a good leader steers the affairs of a nation.

– *Victory for the People*: Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, Director of Corporate Affairs of the NDDC, described the Governor’s triumph as a victory for the people, affirming that their votes were not wasted.
