The Nigerian Army has lauded Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his prompt and decisive response to a recent security alert over a suspected terrorist plot in parts of the state. The commendation came from the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 32 Artillery Brigade, Akure, Major Njoka Irabor, during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku, in Akure.

Major Irabor praised the governor’s quick convening of an emergency security meeting and his directive to all security agencies to remain on full alert, describing the move as a clear demonstration of his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property.

He also appreciated the state government’s ongoing support for security operations, citing recent donations of utility vehicles and equipment to enhance the efficiency and readiness of security personnel.
