
OSOPADEC, Osi Kingdom Deepen Ties as Chairman Poroye Pushes Forward Staff Residential Layout Project

In a renewed move to strengthen staff welfare and community collaboration, the Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Prince Olabiyi Olaleye Poroye, has met with the Iresi of Osi, His Royal Majesty Oba David Olajide Okunato, to advance discussions on the proposed OSOPADEC Staff Residential Layout Project.
During the courtesy visit, Prince Poroye restated the Commission’s commitment to enhancing workers’ wellbeing in line with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s Our Ease Agenda. He noted that the Osi community plays a vital role in providing the enabling environment required for the project’s success.
Poroye described the layout initiative as a forward-thinking plan aimed at improving staff living conditions while promoting inclusive development across oil-producing areas of the state. He disclosed that preparatory work on the land would begin soon, commending the monarch and the Osi Kingdom for their cooperation.
“We appreciate the peaceful disposition of Kabiyesi and the entire Osi Kingdom, which provides a conducive environment for this transformative development,” he said, assuring that OSOPADEC remains dedicated to sustaining harmony and supporting grassroots progress.
Oba Okunato, in his response, praised Prince Poroye’s proactive leadership and expressed optimism that the project would stimulate further infrastructural growth in the community. He called for additional complementary facilities to ensure the layout’s long-term sustainability and to bolster development efforts in Osi.
