24th November, 2025
A fresh round of political mobilization began in Ondo North as the Director General of BTO4BAT, Ogbeni Adesuyi Adojutelegan, formally inaugurated Ward Coordinators tasked with strengthening grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 reelection campaign.
Speaking at the event, Adojutelegan expressed confidence in the President’s capacity to overcome Nigeria’s security challenges, particularly the rising cases of armed kidnappings targeting schoolchildren. He urged the newly inaugurated coordinators to intensify efforts across all wards, describing their role as pivotal to securing broad-based support ahead of the next general election.
He highlighted what he described as ongoing reforms under the Tinubu administration, especially within the Ministry of Interior, noting that these developments would resonate positively with voters.
“The coordinators must engage in grassroots mobilization for President Bola Tinubu’s reelection across the wards,” he said, adding that the President remained committed to improving security nationwide.
Representing the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Fafumilade Adetilewa reaffirmed the government’s determination to curb insecurity. He maintained that recent reforms were already yielding results, urging citizens to support the President’s policies and reelection bid.
Also speaking at the event, APC Chairman in Akoko North West, Kehinde Obanla, appealed to party members to stand firmly behind President Tinubu, saying Tunji-Ojo’s performance should be rewarded at the polls.
One of the newly inaugurated coordinators, Suleiman Muyideen, pledged to intensify grassroots mobilization, expressing confidence that the Minister’s popularity in the region would further boost support for the President’s reelection efforts.
