Yuletide: Shun Quick Money, it leads to sudden Death, NOA tells Youths

National Orientation Agency -NOA, Ondo State office has urged the Youths to shun the idea of quick money as it leads to sudden death. This was disclosed today at the public sensitization carried out by the staff of the Agency and members of NGO as well as members of Human Rights organization along Arakale popular market in Akure and beyond .
The Agency’s spoke person Mr Raphael Oguntibeju and others spoke to the general public about the effects of get rich quick syndrome in the society.His words ” we are talking to our youth to ensure that they shun all these quick money. It doesn’t lead to anywhere, it leads to sudden death. So we need to discourage it among our youth ”
The Agency also advised the general public to be more vigilant as we enter the festive period and be conscious of the environment we live due to the activities of some suspected criminals that might wants to use the opportunity of this Yuletide seasons to their advantages .” We have to be conscious of our environment as we move close to Christmas celebration ” we are talking to the people of Akure City to ensure that we take our security very, very important”
The organization educated the public about the ongoing tax reform of the Federal government that people should embrace it as it would be of benefit to the masses.” we are here this morning to tell the people that all these government policies and programs is for the benefit of everybody. It’s for the development of the nation, we don’t have any other country. Nigeria is our home, we have no where to go, we need to ensure that we support the government to ensure that we have a good society”
Similarly, the agency also urged the general public not to discriminate about people living with the HIV/Aids as those people are part of us. According to them, people living with HIV/Aids are our brothers and sisters.
“we are also talking to people to embrace people living with HIV, those people that has AIDS, they are our brothers, they are our sisters and we need to ensure that we take care of them.We don’t need to discriminate against anybody living with HIV or AIDS “
