The Police in Ondo State, have arrested a fake Medical Doctor, Mr Rabiu Olalekan, for unprofessional conduct and operating an illegal Hospital at Orita Ojo, in Odigbo local government area of the state..
The state commissioner of Police, Mr. Oyeyemi Oyediran paraded the suspect and four others before journalists in Akure.
He said the suspect usually disguise and present himself as the Chief Medical Doctor of Iremide Private Hospital, Orita-Ojo area in Odigbo.
The Police Commissioner said the suspect who attended School of Health Technology, Ijebu-Ode where he studied Community Health Extension Worker has been deceiving the people by performing surgical operations and treating residents as a quack doctor.
The Commissioner also paraded two separate suspects, one 40 year-old, Ebine Adeleke, who allegedly killed a neighbour, Surulere Ajayi as well as another 50 year-old woman, Abegunde Sarah who allegedly strangled an 86 year-old grandmother, Agartha Dare who gave up the ghost immediately.
