
Ondo State Declares Friday, January 17, 2025 as Work-Free Day Ahead of Local Government Election
In preparation for the upcoming Local Government Election in Ondo State, the state government has announced that Friday, January 17, 2025, will be a work-free day for public servants. This decision, made by the Ondo State Government, is to allow civil servants the opportunity to travel to their respective communities in order to participate in the election scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has called on all stakeholders to ensure that the election is conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner across the state.
The announcement was made by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, on January 16, 2025.
