Ondo State, OAUSTECH, and Community Honour the Life of Late Former SSG, Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi

A poignant farewell ceremony was held in Akure on February 8, 2025, as the Ondo State Government (ODSG), Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) Council, and various dignitaries from across the nation gathered to pay tribute to the late Hon. Temitayo Oluseye Oluwatuyi, former Secretary to the State Government (SSG). The event, which followed a wake on February 7, took place at CAC Oke-Isegun, Akure, drawing together government officials, members of the academic community, and citizens united in mourning the loss of a beloved public servant.

In a powerful sermon at the funeral thanksgiving service, Pastor (Dr.) Henry Ojo, President of CAC Worldwide, spoke on the inevitability of death and the importance of being spiritually prepared. “Prepare to meet the appointment with your maker,” he reminded the congregation, quoting from Ecclesiastes, which highlights that “there is a time to be born and a time to die.”

The service was a celebration of the late Oluwatuyi’s exceptional life, dedication to public service, and lasting impact on Ondo State’s development, with tributes from numerous leaders and organizations.
