This press statement announces the defection of Rep. Amos Gwamna Magaji from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 10th House of Representatives. The decision was revealed by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen during plenary on February 11, 2025. Rep. Magaji, a representative of Zangon Kataf/Jaba Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, was previously appointed Chairman of the House Committee on Health Institutions and now holds the position of Chairman of the House Committee on Health Services.
