House of Representatives Appoints New Deputy Chief Whip
Abuja, FCT | Tuesday, February 11, 2025 – In a significant leadership development, the House of Representatives has appointed Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka (APC, Ogun) as the new Deputy Chief Whip. The announcement was made by Speaker Abbas Tajudeen during today’s plenary session, following consultations within the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus. The appointment comes in the wake of the passing of the former Deputy Chief Whip, Rep. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, in January 2025.
