
CP Afolabi Meets with Fulani Community Members to Strengthen Security in Ondo State

In a significant move to bolster community safety, the Commissioner of Police for Ondo State, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi, engaged with members of the Fulani community in a security meeting at Owo. The meeting aimed to enhance collaboration between law enforcement and local communities to ensure the state’s security remains uncompromised.
During his address, CP Afolabi emphasized the importance of community participation in the fight against crime, particularly kidnapping. He urged Fulani members not to harbor criminals and to assist the police by providing vital information that would help eliminate criminal activities. The CP also addressed the need for peaceful co-existence between herders and farmers, stressing mutual respect for boundaries and livelihoods.
In response, the Fulani leadership praised the police’s efforts in maintaining peace and vowed to continue supporting law enforcement, promising to provide any information that would help curb criminal activity in the state.

The meeting reflects the ongoing commitment of the Ondo State Police Command, under CP Afolabi’s leadership, to ensure the safety and security of all residents.
