House Ad-Hoc Committee Reschedules Interactive Session with Rivers State Sole Administrator
April 17, 2025
The House of Representatives Ad-Hoc Committee on Rivers State Oversight has postponed its scheduled interactive session with the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd.), following a formal request from the administrator to shift the meeting.
The session, which was originally slated for 4:00 PM today, was intended to provide clarity on key governance and administrative issues concerning Rivers State.
In a statement issued by the Spokesman of the House, Rep. Akin Rotimi Jr., the Committee acknowledged receipt of the request and confirmed that arrangements are underway to set a new date for the engagement.
“The Committee remains committed to transparency and effective oversight, and the public will be duly informed once a new date is confirmed,” the statement read.
The interactive session forms part of the House’s broader efforts to ensure accountability and good governance in the administration of Rivers State.
