AIYEDATIWA APPOINTS NEW MANAGEMENT TO REVAMP ONDO FOOTBALL
Determined to restore the glory of Ondo State–owned football clubs, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has inaugurated a new management committee for the Ondo State Football Agency.
The committee, made up of professionals with diverse experience in sports administration, will operate directly under the Governor’s office and oversee the Sunshine Stars Football Club, Sunshine Queens Football Club, and the Sunshine Stars Under-19 team.
Members of the committee include:
1. Divine Ogbonnaya – General Manager
2. Segun Joseph
3. Awosakin Iluyomade – Football Association Representative
4. Iyabo Ajanaku
5. Dapo Ajibade – Marketing Consultant
This move fulfills the Governor’s earlier pledge to take decisive steps towards returning Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens to the nation’s premier leagues. He charged the new management to carry out a comprehensive review of the clubs’ challenges and chart a path to success.
