NOA Odigbo LG Launches Grassroots Campaign on National Development Themes

Admin. 10th September, 2025

In a bid to promote national development and civic responsibility, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Odigbo Local Government Area has intensified its grassroots sensitization campaign across the community.

The Head of the NOA office in Odigbo, Mr. Sunday Oluwasanmi, led the campaign with visits to traditional institutions and marketplaces, where he engaged residents on five critical thematic areas identified as essential to Nigeria’s progress.

The thematic focus areas include:

1. Discouraging harmful withdrawal practices among students,

2. Flood prevention and mitigation,

3. Promoting public understanding of key government programmes, including the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND),

4. The National Identity Project, and

5. Fostering respect for national symbols and enhancing national security awareness.

Mr. Oluwasanmi called on community leaders, market associations, and youth groups to actively support the initiative, stressing that sustainable national transformation begins at the community level.

He emphasized that the success of government policies depends heavily on public awareness, participation, and shared responsibility in addressing national challenges.
