
Ondo State Government Strengthens Partnership with NSCDC to Combat Gender Based Violence (GBV)
Publicize The Ondo State Agency Against -Gender Based Violence (OSAA-GBV) help Line 08001001010 for timely intervention
The Deputy Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Coker Dickson Yemi (Head of Operations, Ondo State), NSCDC Gender Head, Ayodele Caroline, and Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs NSCDC Gender Desk Officer, Okeowo Tolulope, pays courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Ondo State, Dr. Seun Bosede Osamaye last Week.
During the visit, both parties discussed collaborative efforts to implement safe school initiatives programs and address Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the state.
Dr. Osamaye appreciated the agency for their service to Nigeria and the ministry of Women affairs and Social Development and their commitment towards social issues and promoting community well-being in Ondo State.
She emphasised that the Administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa will always create a more supportive and secure environment for Ondo State indigenes and residents.
Speaking also was the Administrative Secretary of the Ministry, Bishop Oluseyi Odushola who thanked them for the visit. The Commissioner further appreciated the good works of OSAA-GBV led by its Executive Secretary, Barr. Afolabi and re-emphasized that it was important to make public again, the Ondo State Agency Against -Gender Based Violence (OSAA-GBV) help Line 08001001010 so victims of domestic violence can have access to timely intervention and supports.
