FUTA Teaching Hospital Warns Public Over Fake Recruitment Notice

Date 17th November, 2025 Akure

The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Teaching Hospital has alerted the public to a fraudulent recruitment advertisement making the rounds on social media, firmly disassociating itself from the false claim that it contracted a firm known as MY PARCEL DELIVERY to conduct job recruitment.

In a statement released by the hospital’s management, FUTA Teaching Hospital stressed that it has not hired or authorized any person, group, or agency to advertise or coordinate recruitment on its behalf. The management described the circulating notice as a deliberate attempt by unknown individuals to exploit the institution’s name and mislead job seekers.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency and due process, the hospital cautioned the public against engaging with fraudulent agents or unofficial platforms posing as recruitment consultants for the institution.

According to the statement, all legitimate recruitment information will be publicly announced only through the hospital’s official communication channels at the appropriate time.

The hospital urged members of the public to disregard the fake advertisement and remain vigilant to avoid falling victim to scams.

The Management,
FUTA Teaching Hospital, Akure
