The Publisher and the entire management of the Chronicles Magazine- Olaseeni Olaseele has honoured the Police Public Relations Officer -PPRO of Ondo State Command SP Odunlami with a prestigious award as a Role Model in Information Management. Mrs Odunlami who was honoured alongside with other eminent personality in Nigeria said she was happy to have received the award from the publisher . She thanked the management for recognizing the worth of the Police in the safety of lives and properties in our country with particular reference to Ondo State .

Odunlami, who is a multiple award winner said the Media award given to her is a big deal. In her words “… Most time you feel people do not see what we do or better still, you feel, is it not the same job we are doing. What is the big deal about it? And for them to have seen that this lady is shinning and ,that she deserves an award, I think it’s a wisdom thought because this thing has to do like charity begins at home. I think it’s a huge thing”
In another development, PPRO said that the Nigeria Police are fully prepared for the forth coming general election. According to her , the command have enough man power including the sister agencies to deal with any criminal elements that may want to forment trouble before, during and after the election. She said they have rolled out the electoral offence to the general public, even though the security personnel too are aware about the rules of the game. She believes that ignorance is not an escuse in the court of law.

Also, she said the command had been talking to the electorates, the candidates and other party members and their supporters that election is not a war affair . She advised that anybody that is above eighteen years of age should go out and cast their vote to their respective candidate as Police are ready to protect the life and property of every body as the election is going to be peaceful.
Similarly, Michael Josu Agunloye, a Minister of God bags an award as Role Model in faith and leadership. According to the man of God , he said he was very happy to have received the award. He ascribed all glory to Almighty God. He said he was very happy as he had never received such award in this area. (media award).He said he would continue propagating the Gospel of the Lord now that he had been honoured with the award.He promised to desist from any unlawful acts. His words ” I will make sure I continue the propagating of the Gospel of the Lord and I will make sure that I desist from any unlawful acts”. He said his duties is to preach the Gospel of God. He called on the people to emulate good character from him so that people could see that he is a responsible man of God.

The man of God who prayed that the coming election should be free, fair and credible, advised every citizens, to please vote for their right choice and also advised the people to shone any form of violence during the election. Michael is an Assistant Venerable Suprime Evangelist-AVSE from CCA Agunloye Cathedral Ondo State.

The Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo AKEREDOLU SAN who was represented by Mrs Toyin Onisile, PS Ministry of Information, advised the publisher of the Chronicle Magazine to always continue with the good work he is doing. He appreciated his efforts as his is contributing in his own little way to the development of humanity and the state in general.
The PS said parents should cultivate the habit of promoting the Yoruba Culture from going into extinction. She urged parents to be reading Yoruba literary poetry that could promote good character among our children.

Other dignitories that Graced the event with their representatives were, Mrs kemisola Alawale, Hon. Oluwagbemiga, Faleye,A.k.A , O-seniyan, Oluwarotimi Ogunleye, Hon Bala Akinwumi, Ayodele Durosola. Others are Mr Dapo Oluwatomi , Mr Oluwamuyowa Ogunyemi . The guest speaker Oluwafemi .M Omosuwa who said man is primarily responsible for his own security. He said God is the only one that can guarantee security during election
