OAUSTECH Staff Celebrate Elder Statesman Reuben Fasoranti.
The Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OAUSTECH), has joined prominent Nigerians in celebrating elder statesman and Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti, on the occasion of his 100th birthday, describing him as a symbol of integrity, resilience, and selfless service.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, the university said Pa Fasoranti’s contributions to justice, good governance, and national development have continued to inspire generations within and outside the academic community.
The statement, signed by the Registrar on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Temi Emmanuel Ologunorisa, noted that the institution’s Council, Senate, Management, Staff, and Students were united in celebrating the centenarian.
According to the university, Pa Fasoranti’s principled leadership and dedication to the advancement of the Yoruba nation and Nigeria remain worthy of emulation.
“At this historic milestone, we celebrate your wisdom, resilience, and principled leadership, which continue to guide generations in the pursuit of knowledge, truth, and national development,” the statement read.
The institution also prayed for the continued good health, peace, strength, and long life of the elder statesman.
Pa Fasoranti, a renowned teacher, administrator, and nationalist, has remained one of the influential voices in Nigeria’s political and socio-cultural landscape for decades.
