The Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Ademola Adegoroye, has congratulated the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on his victory in last weekend’s election.

The Minister, in his congratulatory message to the President-elect, hailed the resilience and patriotic vigour deployed by Tinubu throughout the electioneering period, saying that this shows the readiness of the President-elect to tackle the nation’s challenges headlong.

Adegoroye reiterated his position that the President-elect will hit the ground running after inauguration and will build on the developmental foundation already laid by President Muhammadu Buhari in the last eight years.

Making reference to the Bloomberg report of positive response of Nigerian bonds from investors after the election, Adegoroye said the Nigerian Economy will witness speedy recovery under Tinubu’s presidency.

The Minister commended President Muhammadu Buhari for providing a level playing ground for the election, which has contributed in great deal to the credibility of the party’s victory at the polls.

The Minister also congratulated the candidates of the APC in Ondo State for their victories in the National Assembly election, where the party won three out of three Senate seats and eight out of nine seats in the House of Representatives.

Prince Adegoroye attributed the overwhelming victory of the APC in Ondo State to the impressive performance and leadership quality of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON.

The Minister then urged the people of the State to vote for the House of Assembly candidates of the APC in the coming March 11 election, in order to consolidate on the achievements of the Akeredolu administration.
