Three women Witherspoon Atinuke (Owo II) Fayemi Annah (Ilaje II) and Ogunlowo Oluwatosin (Idanre) were among the elected lawmakers that got their Certificates of Returns.

Administrative Secretary of INEC in Ondo State, Oyekola Oyelami, urged the lawmakers-elect to utilise the opportunity to adequately represent their constituencies.

He enjoined them to represent the needs of the electorates and meet their expectations.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who was represented by Dr. Jibayo Adeyeye, urged them to do their job effectively.

“It’s being a long time of campaign. You have emerged as our elected representatives. The people of Ondo State expect you to work for them and do your job properly.”

Majority Leader of the Ondo Assembly, Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, said the 10th Assembly would witness peace.

A PDP lawmaker-elect, Olajide Johnson, said he was not elected as a minority lawmaker to be an enemy of the Governor.

“I will not disappoint my people. Being a minority is not a barrier. I am not going to be an enemy of the Govermor.”
