SMEDAN SIGNED MoU With NSCC In Abuja.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC), was signed today 8th June 2023 at the corporate headquarters of SMEDAN. The objective of the MoU is to provide capacity enhancement and entrepreneurship development training for Senior Citizens on SMEDAN programmes towards poverty reduction and job creation for sustainable livelihoods.

The Director General, Dr. ‘Olawale Fasanya promised to expand the scope of beneficiaries of SMEDAN’s programme to include retirees and senior citizens, even though there had been direct interventions in the past for them. Dr. Emem Omokoro thanked the DG for the magnanimous offer and equally congratulated him on moving to the new complex.

SUBJECT: REPORT ON THREE DAYS TRAINING BETWEEN SMEDAN AND WARD 28 TAILORING IN AKURE SOUTH ONDO STATE.
DATE: 12TH-16TH OF MAY, 2023

The above subject matters refer.
Three days training between SMEDAN and ward 28 tailor in Akure south Ondo state, held on Friday may 12 till Tuesday 16th by 10am with an opening prayer by Mr. Femi, the chairman of the association following by piece of advice to the member of the association and introduction of the staff by the SMEDAN state manager prince Tomi ikuomola.
Firstly, on may 12 Friday, Mr. Amushitan Michael SMEDAN Deputy state manager at Ondo state facilitate on business regulation and legal matters, much talking important on business registrations and benefit and advantage of being register business, and also advice the association on the companies and allied matters act which provide for the registration of all business, such of the registration shall fall under the following categories: Private limited company, Public limited company, Company limited by Guarantee and Unlimited company.
Finally, Mr Amushitan Michael further educate the member on effect of registration, that registration Does not coffer legal personality on the business however it apprises the public as to the true identity of the persons who trade under the registration name. Registration give priority to the use of the name even against register companies the same day on Friday, Mrs. Olatunji Temidayo thought on identification of business opportunity by using village that is not wearing shoes as illustration to the member of the association as a business opportunities followed by what bring business opportunities such as: Poor delivery of services, overpriced of product/services, new advance of technology, change in social attitudes, tastes or behaviours, and natural disasters such as flooding weather change e.t.c

On Monday may 15, Adaramoye kemisola thought on objective of marketing and how to satisfy our customers in any post of our business followed by five practical steps in marketing such as :Products, Place, Price, Promotion, and peoples

On Tuesday may 16, the official members from jaiz bank came to collaborate with SMEDAN client by helping them open free account with their bank [Jaiz].The official members promised to give them loans to help them with their business, with a soft interest rate.
