7th Sept ,2023.

.The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN, CON , was said to have returned to Nigeria. The information gathered from the official Facebook page of his wife, Arabinrin Betty Amyanwu Akeredolu, with a post “Homebound” indicated that Mr Governor had returned from the Medical leave.

It would be recalled that the Governor went on a Medical vacation in Germany, since three months ago  starting from June , 2023 and have just returned back to the country.  Before proceeding to the Medical Vacation, he had transferred power to his deputy, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to continue working on the activities of the governance in the state, for the betterment of the people of Ondo State, who indeed maintained peace across the eighteen local governments within the state.
However, the reports gathered by our correspondence from a reliable source, said the Governor haven’t returned to Akure the state capital of Ondo State, as at the time of filling this report  but had been in the country waiting to return to Akure to continue his official duties or go to his hometown in Owo before resuming work.

With the latest development, the people of Ondo State are very happy that Mr Governor was able to come back alive to the country, as they were eager to see him return to work and continue performing his official duties for the people of Ondo State, after the necessary legislative procedure might have been followed.
