Members of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, Ondo State Chapter has celebrated their current Chairman Mr Ishola LAMIDI on his Investiture that was just concluded at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations – (FNIPR) . Mr LAMIDI is a Senior lecturer at the Adekule Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, in the Department of Mass Communication. He has been leading the Association for the past four years now before he became the Fellow of the Institute.
According to the Secretary of the Association, Mr Sunday Omosule, said that this current honour bestowed on the Chairman is a big plus to him, the association and the entire South west in general.
In another development, Dr. Gbenga Abimbola, also a lecturer in the same University and a Council member of the Institute congratulated the chairman for adding another feather to his Cap. He said that with the current status of the new fellow in the association, its very certain that new Fellow would produce more baby who would become a fellow like him in the year ahead. Mr Ishola LAMIDI can not but hide his joy by thanking God and the entire members of the association for their prayers and support why they were there in Abuja for this year 2022 conference of the Instructions.
The members took time to celebrate with their new fellow and also have a group photograph at the end of their monthly meeting with the fellow among them.
