Alleged Governor’s Signature Forgery: Gov. Akeredolu Caused It.- Poroye

An APC Stewart Mr Biyi Poroye , has said the alleged forgery of the signature of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON by some people in his government was caused by Mr Governor himself. He said this on Radio Station in Akure.
According to him , Mr Governor was the one that attracted the controversy to his government and that he should took the blame because he gave room for his kinsmen to infiltrated his government.
According to him, the people surrounding the governor had abused the integrity, the principles and the image of the State. He said what the people are asking for was that the government should address them. He also spoke about the alleged forgery of the Mr Governor ‘s signature by some people in his government who were making an attempt to play political game around him.
Ondo Political Crisis: Allow The Rule Of Law To Prevail — Hon Bakita.
Similarly, the former Law Maker Hon.Dr Bakita Bello has advised the Executives Council members of Ondo State and the law Makers representing the various constituencies in the state to allowed the rules of law to prevail in the ongoing political crisis between the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON and his Deputy Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. He said this on Telephone call on national Radio programme today when he said it’s imperative for Mr Governor to distance his family members from interfering in the affairs of the governance of Ondo State . He made reference to the past Administrations in the state Starting from the Late Pa Adekunle Ajasin to the former Governor Mimiko that just left the corridor of power that they didn’t allowed their wives or any of their families members to interfere with the governance during their administrations

Alleged Governor”s Forged signature.
Speaking further on the matter, Dr Bakita said the mediating roles played by Mr President Bola Tinubu after he might had listened to the argument of the executive members that are loyal to the Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON and the Deputy Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and discovered that the other Executives were not sure of their fate in the government if the Deputy Governor is pronounced as Acting governor that was why they asked the Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to signed undated letter of resignation .
According to him, he said this could be probably the fact that the man may hit back by dissolving all his Boss cabinet or sack all the executive members if he was made an acting Governor . In order for this not to happened that was why Mr President Bola Tinubu said the status quo should remain because according to him they have seen how he had been misused the power transmitted to him before by the ailing Governor .
He said to him, all these conditions doesn’t mean anything to him as a Politician because it’s just the fear that Deputy Governor may fire those executive members constitutionally if he became the acting Governor as the law empowered whoever that become Acting governor to hire or fire. He said he also has power to interfere with the affairs of the party structure and other aspects of the governance.
Meanwhile, Dr Bakita opined that the resolutions made by the Mr President being a mediator was a 50-50 interventional conditions in order to give everyone of them a benefit of doubt that, don’t worry nothing would happened and it is a transitional period. But he said we should remember that this is constitutional issue which is a rule of law that should prevail.
When asked if he thinks that this conditions would not be outsmarted by the D’Gov, ? Dr Bakita had this to say that this is the rules of the law and that we should allow it to prevail and that the Ticket given to the Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON and his Deputy Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa was a joint Ticket and therefore the law should be allowed to take it’s course.
In his words,”for instance if the Governor is hail and hearty and is in Nigeria -Abuja and is supposed to attend a state executive meeting , would the commissioner prevent Aiyedatiwa from presiding over the meeting?… My sister it’s share indiscipline and arrogance of opportunity and all these things is affecting the function and the people of Ondo State ”
He said all these political crisis happening between most of all these governors be it in Ondo and Edo state are deliberately misinformation and an attempt of running down their Deputy Governor before the Governor most especially whenever election is drawing near .
According to him he said but an intelligent Governor, upon hearing all these fabricated lies against his Deputy would Table all the fact of these comments or allegations before his Deputy Governor for him to have his own fare say and if he was able to defend himself before the allegations and cleared all , and if such Governor have the mind of God and decided to forgive him after listening to his own side ,he would just allow the peace to reign but not for him to be acting upon the hear say before taking his decision.
Other Lawyer in the house Mr Babaleye also urged the State House of Assembly members to displayed maturity in handling the matter and allow peace to reign in the state He said for now the Speaker may be confused but he knows at the appropriate time they would get themselves together and they would do the needful and they should allow the constitution to be running. He said the Governor should take his family out of the institutions
Mr Jonhson Alabi the leader of Ondo State Liberation Initiative said the way an manner the government of ondo state is being runned by proxy now is alarming as he alleged that people are already being forging the signature of Mr Governor of which he said is a disaster to the state . Although he said that he didn’t know the source but the signature is in the public domain. He said it’s our people the people of Ondo State that are working in this offices and they have access to all these things. He claimed that the state is being depleting every day by proxy and that was why those people working in these offices have to cried out by sending the signature to the public domain for people to see. He said his group Ondo State Liberation Initiative had written a letter to the Ondo State government and that they have given a seven days altiimatum which had expired and they are now given another three days ultimatum before proceeding to court for them to compelled them to release the financial status of the state to the public..
Mr Babaleye, Tolu a legal Practitioner said what the Executives and members of the legislative should do now was for them to constitute a medical team that would investigate and satisfied the health status of Mr Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON if they form a quorum and as soon as that one is done and if the outcome of the medical investigation proved that Mr Governor is incapacitated to perform his duties then the House of Assembly has no choice than to pronounced his Deputy as the acting Governor.
