OMP/News release

03/01/2024

The executive and members of Ondo State Online Media Professionals (OMP) felicitate the Publisher of Trace Magazine, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan on his appointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) by the Governor of Ondo State, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

OMP in a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday and signed by its Chairman, Hakeem Adebumiti and Secretary, Temitope Adedeji, described Mr Ebenezer’s appointment as strategic to the political communication of the administration of Governor Aiyedatiwa.

OMP recalls Mr Ebenezer’s journey as a young reporter from his days at Hope Newspaper to Sunshine Daily Watch, and to becoming an owner of a news magazine, which has consistently dotted our newsstands in the last 13 years, as a notable milestone, hence his recent appointment as CPS is worthwhile.

OMP therefore wishes to express our confidence in the capability of Prince Adeniyan, considering his wealth of experience, which we know he will bring to bear as he discharges his duty.

OMP also congratulate the new special assistant on New Media to Governor Aiyedatiwa, Mr Sunday Olugbenga Abire.

Mr Abire, who until his appointment worked with Hon. Ade Adeogun as a media aide is an accomplish media scholar from the prestigious University of Benin, and we believe he will bring that to the office.

e-Signed

Hakeem Adebumiti
Chairman

Temitope Adedeji
Secretary
