Dr. Duyile ,who received his Doctoral Degree at the age of eighty year from the University on Journalism and now a lecturer at the Elizade University  Ilara mokin Akure said “Journalists are not born to be poor and at the same time they are not born to make rich quickly but it depends on the attitude of that journalist to demonstrate professionalism and how he or she upheld the ethnics of the profession to high level for him to be recognized in the society and make name for himself. Then your worth would be recognized by the society”

He asked Journalists to be bold in their reportage because the people depends on them for more information on the happening within the government circle and the society at large.

He asked Journalists to go into publishing based on their years of experience in the media . He said Journalists have a lot of materials they could write about . He said you would never can tell about how your experience could fetched you millions of Naira in the society in future as people could learn more on your experience. He asked Journalists to write about their experience and not to die with the secrets they have.

In another development, Dr Duyile said We should not enslaved ourselves but to advise the proprietor of the paper on what to do in order for the paper to be alive because the society depends on the integrity of the Journalists to inform the society for better not for them to be singing glorious praises for the proprietor of the paper always.

Although, he said that Ownership influence is very important for every Journalist but if they want the paper to continue making relevance in the society among their contemporaries then they need to some time go out of the comfort of their ownership influence.
Dr. Duyile also called on the government to establish for Journalists a Pension schemes which he said is important for journalists in order for them to keep up body and souls together when they are old or retired from the profession. He said the only condition to drew from the fund was that that journalist must have been a retired person  from the profession.
He called the pen pusher to be an academic person when they retired because their experience is more important for the younger one who are seeking for knowledge and information in the Profession. He called on the Journalists to write on the experience on photo journalism because it’s a trend issues on the social media and on Google this day .

In another department, Dr. Duyile said in Jamaica their government established Press Fund For Journalists and most of them have Houses when they retired because government their government are deducting the money from the salary of such Journalist every months before they retire. He now called on the government of Nigeria para venture Ondo State to emulate that gesture for the Journalists in their state .

He said the Journalism profession is a profession that have integrity and advised the practitioneers to maintain that integrity till the end. In his words “Be an upright journalist and then something would happen because God have a way of lifting  up one”
He said “The profession gives you fame and connection and with that you could be connected with your popularity, boldness and integrity but not the issue of the brown envelope as this would have a way of tanishing the image of the profession and the Journalists as an individual ”

Highlights of the programme include group photograph with most of the Veterans Journalists by the young and old seasons Journalists in the Profession.
