The All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders from Apoi in Ese Odo local government area, Ondo East, and Ile-Oluji/Oke-igbo, in a show of solidarity, have declared their unalloyed loyalty to Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The party leaders from the three local government areas declared their support for the Governor during separate courtesy visits on Wednesday.

The party leaders extended their condolences to Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State Government, and the people of the state over the passing of Late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and also congratulated Aiyedatiwa on assuming office as the 7th executive Governor of the State.

During the visit, Right Hon. Olamide Oladiji, who led the delegation from Ondo East, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Aiyedatiwa for his exemplary leadership and the positive impact of his administration in Ondo State.

Oladiji specifically acknowledged Governor Aiyedatiwa’s dedication and efforts in Ondo East, highlighting the transformative projects undertaken in the local government area and those included in the 2024 budget.

Oladiji reaffirmed the delegation’s commitment to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, pledging their unwavering loyalty and support.

Also, Chief Olusola Iji, former Ambassador of Nigeria to Togo, leading the Apoi delegation, commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his remarkable achievements since assuming office.

He particularly appreciated the recent appointments of Hon. Akinwunmi Sowore and Mrs. Olamide Falana as Cabinet members, while also advocating for increased representation of Apoi in the civil service.

While speaking with the media, Chief Nathaniel Taye Fapohunda, who led the delegation from Ile Oluji, alongside Surveyor Niran Akinniyi and Hon. Bimbo Fajolu, reiterated the community’s steadfast support for Governor Aiyedatiwa and urged him to continue his exemplary leadership.

Pa Fapounda, a former Chairman of the defunct Alliance for Democracy, emphasized the importance of heeding advice and maintaining the positive trajectory of development in the State.

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in response, expressed gratitude for the solidarity and support shown by the party leaders, promising to always carry along party leaders in the affairs of the State.

Addressing the delegation from Ondo East, the Governor commended the cooperation of Speaker Oladiji, the Governor stated that there us no plan to change the leadership of the House of Assembly.

Reflecting on the late governor’s legacy, he affirmed his commitment to completing all ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the state’s development.

Governor Aiyedatiwa said the visits from the party leaders have set a positive tone for collaborative governance and continued progress in the State.

The Governor assured them of his determination to lead Ondo State to greater heights, building on the foundation laid by his predecessor.
