The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party-PDP, ONDO State, Tola Alabere has said that their government is ready to eradicate hunger and poverty from the land if their party win the forth coming governorship election in the state on November, 16th, 2024. Starting this at the party Secretariat during the presentation of the expression of interest form to one of the Aspirant Otunba Bamidele Akingboye who is contesting for the post of Governor in the state.The chairman said they are going to provide play level ground for everyone of the aspirants to thrive and whoever that win the primary would be the flag bearer of the party and he would be given full support of the party .

Response, Otunba Bamidele Akingboye after received the certificate of expression of interest from the chairman, said it was his people that appealed to him to come and join politics in order for him to contest for the governorship in future following his good antecedent.
Akingboye used the opportunity to tell the people about his profile as some people in Abuja was trying to mess up his qualifications sometimes ago. He said all his certificates had been certified now and gazetted by the competent court of the jurisdiction and that he had obtained form and he is ready for the election.He explained that he is coming to take tears away from the people of Ondo State , if he is given the chance to rule as governor of the state.
